Kasol Tosh Weekend Trip
Overview
Kasol Tosh Weekend Trip
Once a sleepy village positioned in the mysterious Parvati Valley, Kasol is a hub for young backpackers, peace seekers and Indiaβs hashish capital. A backpacking trip to Parvati Valley will remain incomplete without spending a night in this Himalayan hamlet widely popular among smokers. Kasol gives easy access to some naturally occurring herbs that are purer and affordable too. Nestled along the roaring Parvati River, this hippie paradise in Himachal Pradesh is a great option to escape the monotony of urban life and soak in the good vibes amidst the majestic Himalayas.
From hiking to ancient villages, and interacting with locals to chilling and treating yourself with delicious falafel in local cafes, Kasol is truly a travelerβs delight in the lap of the Himalayas.
Lies at the extreme end of Parvati Valley, the trek to Kheerganga is one of the most loved trekking trails near Kasol. Positioned at an altitude of 13,000 ft, Kheerganga is a holy place with a hot water spring – a kund blessed by the holiness of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. The trekking route from Barshaini to Kheerganga is decorated with dense forests, soul-soothing waterfalls, rustic villages and gorgeous Himalayan vistas; therefore making this destination a hit for trek lovers. So, put on your backpack and head out for camping at Kheerganga in Parvati Valley.
